  • ​This job is a member of the Finance Team within the Finance Division.
  • ​Responsible for assisting the Revenue Accounting Automation team with assessing impacts for Internal and External projects, understanding business needs and writing user stories to effectively communicate the business needs. This role requires technical aptitude and business insight as well as the ability to work with diverse teams.
  • The Senior Analyst is expected to become a liaison with multiple areas, adapt and work in a rapidly changing environment and relate Revenue accounting system processes with business objectives.

What you'll do

  • Assesses impact to Revenue Accounting for Internal and External Projects
  • Refines and optimizes revenue accounting processes to benefit from such projects
  • Proposes optimal processes and gathers approval from Business stakeholders
  • Works with business teams to elicit business needs and writes user stories portraying the business need
  • Ensures well defined acceptance criteria for stories
  • Works with developers and Agile product teams to ensure user stories are communicated and understood by team
  • Validates acceptance criteria is met, accepts user stories and demos to stakeholders
  • Communicates project status to the stakeholders through the project lifecycle
  • Supports the QA team in understanding project requirements and ensures test scripts created by QA team covers all business scenarios

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • ​Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field, or 3+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst/Business Analyst working with IT
  • Experience working in a cross-functional environment



 

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Airline experience preferred, specifically in the area of ticketing

  • Ability to work under a constantly changing environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to work independently
