YOU'LL GET TO: - Investigate sites and collect data
- Design stream restorations
- Design dam projects and perform safety inspections
- Analyze sediment transport
- Investigate water resources
- Perform hydrology and hydraulics (H&H) and flood modelling
- Design stormwater management
- Apply resilience principals
- Process wetland and waterway permits
- Assess and restore watersheds
- Assist with grant applications and management

REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor's Degree, Engineering preferred. Will also considered allied professional (Environmental Science, Biology, Geomorphology, Hydrology, Landscape Architecture, Ecology, equivalent work experience, etc.)
- Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE WANT:
- 0 to 3 years of experience
- Experience in (or willing to learn) field reconnaissance, survey equipment operation, drone operation, data collection, and data analysis
- Course work or willingness to learn stream restoration, AutoCAD, H&H modeling (HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, HY-8, SWMM, etc.), floodplain studies, dam design, stormwater management design, and the permitting and approval process.
- Willing to learn or experience in construction observation and oversight.
- Willing to learn or experience in use of software for hydrology, hydraulics, drafting, presentation, and routine office administrative tasks
- Writing and verbal communication skills
- Willingness and ability to occasionally travel and work overtime
