Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Food and Nutrition Consultant to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role you will assist a Registered Dietitian in conducting patient visits in healthcare facilities and completing food and nutrition related audits.

This is a contractor only- travel position - for contracts throughout the continuum of care. This is a fully onsite position.

Geographic area involves a reasonable commute on the Routes 10 and 12 Corridors between Brattleboro Vt and Lake Sunapee areas.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient visits to assist with assessments, documenting dietary history, food preferences and other data collection.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate nutritional care within healthcare facility settings
• Assist with monitoring nutritional care as assigned.
• Utilize dietary and company software systems efficiently to communicate with the team.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition.
• LDN is preferred but will consider those with significant experience in dietary management
• Proven experience in dietary department settings in a variety of health care environments
• Knowledge of special diets and texture modified diets.
• Ability to communicate effectively with facility leadership and with patients.
