Job Title: .NET Developer (5–6 Years Experience)

Location: Hicksville, New York
Visa: Only Green Card Holders and U.S. Citizens
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $70,000 per year

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented .NET Developer with 5–6 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in ASP.NET Core , C# , SQL Server , and modern web development practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using ASP.NET Core / .NET 6+
• Build RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend services
• Write clean, secure, and reusable C# code following industry best practices
• Implement front-end components using JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS , and frameworks as needed
• Work with SQL Server to design tables, write complex queries, stored procedures, and optimize performance
• Integrate third-party APIs, services, and tools
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
• Participate in code reviews and ensure high code quality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, DevOps, Product)
• Maintain documentation, technical specs, and deployment notes

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5–6 years of professional experience as a .NET developer
• Strong experience with ASP.NET Core , C# , and .NET 5/6/7
• Proficiency with Entity Framework Core , LINQ, Dependency Injection
• Strong understanding of REST APIs , microservices architecture
• Solid experience with SQL Server , database design, stored procedures
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React/Angular) is a plus
• Experience using Git , Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines
• Strong problem-solving skills and debugging abilities
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure Cloud , Docker, or containerized applications
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, MSTest)

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
