About the  Mail Handler position 

The Mail Handler is responsible for managing inbound mail and packages, ensuring accurate processing, and supporting customer needs through careful handling and documentation. This role involves receiving, scanning, shipping, discarding, or shredding mail while collaborating with the customer support team to fulfill client requests. The position requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to handle packages weighing up to 80 lbs.

What You'll Do:  

• Receive, sort, and log inbound mail and packages. 
• Operate scanners to digitize and upload mail for customer accounts. 
• Navigate and update multiple customer account databases. 
• Prepare and ship outgoing mail and packages. 
• Safely discard or shred mail items per policy and customer requests. 
• Collaborate with customer support to complete special handling requests. 
• Maintain organized records and workspace for efficient mail operations. 
• Perform other related duties as assigned 

What You'll Need:  

• 1+ years experience in a job that requires strong attention to detail and organizational skills 
• Ability to lift and move packages up to 80 lbs. 
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Dependability and ability to work independently 
• Comfortable operating scanners and basic office equipment
• Proficiency with computers and navigating multiple databases
• Prior mailroom, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred but not required.
