Position Summary
As a QA Engineer at Aspire Software, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our API gateway tailored for the alternative financial services industry. Your hybrid expertise in both automated and manual testing will be essential in validating our custom integrations and add-on business logic modules. By writing and executing comprehensive tests using tools like Playwright and Postman, and meticulously reviewing and replicating issues in our systems, you will help maintain the high standards of our products. Your excellent communication skills will facilitate effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify, document, and resolve defects, ensuring a seamless and exceptional user experience for our clients.

What You’ll Be Doing

·        Automated Testing: Develop, maintain, and execute automated tests for our frontend applications using Playwright to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability.

·        API Testing: Configuring and executing automated API testing, including writing test scripts, creating collections, and validating responses for reliability and performance.

·        Issue Identification and Replication: Review calls identified as suboptimal, replicate issues, and document detailed reports outlining the problems that need to be addressed.

·        Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to communicate defects, suggest improvements, and ensure timely resolution of issues.

·        Test Planning and Strategy: Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies to cover various aspects of our systems, ensuring thorough coverage and robust quality assurance.

·        Continuous Improvement: Continuously refine and enhance testing processes, tools, and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

·        Documentation: Maintain clear and detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and defect reports to support ongoing quality initiatives.

·        Manual Testing: Perform manual testing as needed to complement automated testing efforts and ensure comprehensive coverage of all functionalities.

·        Performance Monitoring: Utilize tools like Sentry for logging and monitoring application performance, identifying potential issues before they impact users.

·  Testing Expertise: Proven experience in quality assurance, with a strong background in both automated and manual testing methodologies.

·  Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using testing frameworks and tools such as Playwright, Postman, and pytest.
