Wisdom Teeth Guys is recruiting for a Regional Dental/Operations Manager!

Wisdom Teeth Guys is a rapidly growing Dental Support Organization focused on wisdom teeth removal currently in 6 markets with plans for rapid growth. We are an established business and recently celebrated our 10th anniversary.

The Regional Manager position is based in Texas to be central to all our locations. Ideally candidates would live in the Houston metro area but we are willing to consider other candidates located in Texas.

You will be supporting and overseeing our surgery teams in Austin, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Phoenix and Utah. Moderate to extensive travel required depending on situational needs. When not traveling you will work remotely from home.

Responsibilities include:

• Work jointly with the COO to:
  • Support and manage existing and future surgery managers across all markets.
  • Oversee the activities of the Insurance Manager who oversees the billing and verifications teams.
• Supporting the roll-out process of tasks required to open new markets including supply & equipment procurement, recruiting, training, software setup, logistical issues, etc.
• Frequent travel to new markets both before, during and after launch. This would be multi-state travel and sometimes involve full weeks on the road.
• Working with surgery managers on recruiting and training their clinical staff.
• Overseeing and being directly involved in recruitment of key staff members.
• Work strategically with the senior DSO management team of COO, CCO and CEO.
• Covering surgery managers as needed for emergencies if they don't have the staff to cover. In the event of a surgery manager vacancy you may have to run a market directly until a replacement is hired.

Experience required:

• 5 years experience in dental management
• Some experience with specialty/oral surgery preferred but not required.
• Substantial experience with insurance billing, claims, collection and verifications.
