As a Robotics Electrical Engineer, you will design, build, and test innovative robotic workcells and module designs such as robotic end of arm tools for our robot solutions. Key job responsibilities - Work with an interdisciplinary team to design new robotic industrial automation from concept to production. - Design of complex electrical systems, including: layouts, schematics, BOM, documentation for fabrication, coordination with build/procurement, certification/QC, test and field support. - Write requirements and functional specifications, design verification plans, and functional test procedures. - Develop field support diagnostics tools, documents, and training to resolve issues in high complexity FC system installations. - Work with the Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Quality organizations, as well as vendors to ensure a smooth production transition of design changes. - Deep-dive drive electronics issues, optimize configurations, develop and execute tests to verify functionality. - Travel to vendors, installation sites, and manufacturing partners to ensure high quality bar is maintained. The base pay for this position ranges from $105,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
