School Psychologist - Cerritos, CA

Position Overview:
The School Psychologist plays a vital role in promoting students' emotional well-being and academic achievement. This position provides on-site psychological services, conducts assessments, and collaborates with educators and families to ensure students receive the support they need. You will help identify developmental and mental health challenges and assist in qualifying students for additional services.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Deliver comprehensive psychological services to students in accordance with state and district guidelines.
+ Conduct evaluations to determine eligibility for special education and related services.
+ Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized plans.
+ Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed.
+ Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all professional standards and regulations.
Minimum Requirements:
+ Current state licensure and/or certification as a School Psychologist.
+ Master's degree in Psychology or related field (preferred).
+ Experience working with pediatric and adolescent populations (preferred).
+ Compliance with all federal, state, and local requirements.
+ Current CPR certification (if applicable).
+ TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable).
+ Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
+ Must be at least 18 years of age.
