As a Security Officer - Community Patrol Driver in Newport Coast, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol residential communities, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with residents and guests. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to residents and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential community and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, maintenance issues, or hazards within the residential location to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist residents and guests with inquiries and directions as needed, promoting a welcoming environment.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate daily activity reports and incident logs as required by Allied Universal and site management.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services during incidents when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
