Behind JRC’s thoughts, principles and policies,there are many number of people who have been a constant inspiration and one among them was Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam ji. He constantly used to advice students to go to a cancer hospital on holidays,give them flowers and fruits,spend time,show some love and return back to home.He used to say it would give you a different level of satisfaction and also helps you to value your Blessed life.
When JRC got a request to help a cancer affected child,the team went to the hospital,talk to the parents and when finally got a chance to talk to the kid in the kid’s section of the cancer wing,to its shock the team found that there were tens of kids starting from age 1 to 15 years suffering from different kinds of chronic cancers of different stages.
It really brought up a question to each one of the team ” what mistake did an year old kid do to suffer a punishment of this cruel scale? “.
Then JRC had decided to start a special wing for cancer in its operations to specially work for the welfare of the cancer affected patients to provide them with all that they need including moral support throughout their journey.
This initiative was started on the birthday of Dr.Kalam in 2019 and it was named as Dr.Kalam CANcerVIVAL.
Its main objective is to bring awareness on the life style that is more immune to prevent cancer, to conduct pre-clinical tests to predict the occurance of cancer,to suggest and guide throughout the struggling journey to find a better treatment,to support financially for the poor and finally to extend the moral support of humanity, love and kindness to the suffering from the society.
