As a Proofreader at EPIC Brokers, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of all written materials produced by the organization. Your attention to detail and keen eye for errors will be key in maintaining the professional reputation of the company.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review and proofread various types of documents, including insurance policies, reports, and marketing materials, to identify and correct errors in grammar, punctuation, spelling, and formatting.
• Collaborate with writers, editors, and designers to ensure that all materials meet quality standards and brand guidelines.
• Verify facts, dates, and other details to ensure accuracy and consistency across all written content.
• Provide feedback and suggestions for improvement to help enhance the clarity, coherence, and overall effectiveness of the text.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high quality and attention to detail.

Essential Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in English grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot errors quickly and efficiently.
• Solid understanding of proofreading marks and techniques.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Desired Experience:

• 1-2 years of experience in proofreading, preferably in the insurance or financial industry.
• Experience using proofreading tools and software is a plus.

Salary & Benefits:

• Minimum Salary: $40,000 per year
• Maximum Salary: $60,000 per year
